I"m moving to tenafly, NJ from Portland, OR.

which is the cheapest way to move considering all the factors?

  1. truck an trailer- if you want to keep your stuff.. if you're willing to get all new stuff---fly...


  2. It would be cheaper to fly.

    Are you sure you want to live their since Oregon is so beautiful. I lived in N.J. for too many years and was glad to leave.

You could rent a U-Haul truck and drive from New Jersey to Oregon and take in the beauty of driving from coast to coast, it would probably be more affordable than flying because flights are expensive these days with all the added fees. If you fly, you'll also have to pay a company to move your furniture (an airline won't take the dinner table and your other larger items).
