Is it cheaper to send one big package to the one address from Japan to the US then two small packages 2places?

I am sending a lot of stuff home to the US from Japan. Is it the same price to send two small packages home as one large package if they are the same weight? The Japan post website does not have details in English. Probably sending at least 10 kilos home.

The postage is determined by weight, so it will cost you the same amount regardless of how many packages you send.
