Is the weather in Whitely Bay different from the rest or the same?

As it is near to the beach, I wonder if it is colder up there.

  1. Colder than where? The north of England is colder than the south, and generally the east coast feels colder due to the winds from the North Sea. The west coast is protected (to a certain extent) by Ireland.

So yes, it's colder, but also windier. London tends to be hotter than most of the rest of the country because the pollution fumes trap in the heat.

    Oh, and it's Whitley Bay
