Is it coming??

okay so yesterday in the mail i got a letter from the IRS about my stimulus check. telling me how much i am getting and then it said i should expect it BY 6/6/08.

now is that the second notice?? and will i be getting it this week if they said i should expect it by 6/6/08?? i REALLY need that money now.

most of letters say That's the Mailing  date like my sons was mailed on 28th of may he still waiting according to IRS it takes 7-10 days to receive check from the Date its Mailed

They try to send it to you as soon as possible. You may get it today or tomorrow or on 6/6/08.

If you don't get it by tomorrow, call them.

When you received your notification on the date your check would be issued on, 6/6/08, it should have also told you if you didn't receive it by a certain date, then to call. The where's my stimulus tool also give you a call date if you don't receive it after 6/6/08 Your check most likely will be mailed on 6/6/08 and give it a few days after that to check your mailbox. Patience, it's coming. I'm the week after and I'm anxious as well !!!  It's on it's way!

Look again. It probably says it will be *mailed by* June 6.

My letter said my check would be mailed by 5/23. I received it on 5/28.

Your payment will be mailed by 6/6 - the wording is poor.  You should get it next week sometime.

We just got our check yesterday, well before they said it would be here. Re-enact those days when you were a kid and kept looking out the window for the mailman as your birthday neared and chase him down for your card from grandma with the check.
