Heck no! That's way too young for anyone to be involved with someone else, it's just confusing on top of all the raging hormones and bodily changes that are going on at that age.

no not really but seventh graders do think they are old enough to be and they arent. Trust me that u have plenty of time to have girldfriends/boyfriends or riends with benifits.

No not common at all. 16 is the age when you can start having s*x before then it is perfectly normal to be exploring oral s*x, mutual masturbation etc. Really this is something that should be discussed openly with your parents. They will respect your decision a lot more if you approach them like an adult on this subject.

Friends with Benefits is a term more for people in the 20's or over who are too busy for a relationship or not emotionally prepared for a relationship so this is what is settled for. It can end badly ie. someone falls for the other person and the other person is not interested only in the s*x and frienship or it can turn into a relationship feelings develop from both partys over time.

Don't rush. There is plenty of time for s*x and intimacy.
