I have to get one again but the last time I did I got all very warm all over and everything got blurred and I got dizzy and just passed out.

  1. no that happens to alot of people. its just your body reacting to the blood loss.

  2. It is not a sign that something is wrong. Some people just faint at the sight of blood.  It is probably because you were not sure how it would feel and you got a little stressed.  It may not happen again but you can alert the therapist that you fainted the last time so he or she will be prepared and not let you get up too fast.

Just remember to breath and if you feel light headed again sit down and put your head as low as you can, even if it is in your lap and take some slow deep breaths.

  3. Not very common.

  4. they don't take enough to lower your pressure.

however, maybe you get nervous enough that you do it to yourself.

now that you know, once you're done, at least sit down for a while.

it'd be better if you could lay down for a couple minutes, till you got yourself composed again.

maybe if you tell 'em the problem, they'll be able to help you.

  5. No, some people are just more sensitive to getting blood drawn. Try to not be too nervous for it (if you are), and ask to drink something after it's done, they usually have orange juice. Make sure to drink and eat before too, and sit up slowly once you're done.

  6. you faint when you lose a pint of blood so yeah its normal and common
