Is it common to find coffins of plastic figures in Mexican churches?

I recently visited two churches in Mexico and both had a coffin in open view with a plastic-looking figure lying inside. I've never seen that before in the U.S., but maybe it's common in Mexico. Just wondering. Gracias a todo.

  1. Nothing about two jesus, she meant that the plastic figures represents those saints, actually ive seen a few churches with those. There's a lot of meaninful traditions in many catholic churches.

  2. LOL WTF?

  3. Plastic figure?  Are you sure it wasn't a corpse for viewing?  Or possibly a statue - in effigy of some famous person?

  4. They are not in EVERY church...and the "plastic people" serve as motives...another note to that is that they are not the same people, they are different saints that churches have a stronger faith in.

y de nada :) si tienes otra pregunta me dices...
