Is it common to have light irregular periods after having a tubaligation?

I had a tubaligation in August of 06. My periods were normal for the first year after. But the past year since they have been really irregular (like 45 days apart or longer) and last only 2 to 3 days tops and are very light. I was never one to have light, short periods. The gap and it being light is all new to me, the only thing I can think of is the tubal. Its hard to find info on the net about this though. So, do anyone know if that is common for those who have undergone a tubal?

  1. I have the same problem. I went to my doctor and he said it is completly normal. He ran some tests to make sure but I checked out ok. He did tell me this is not uncommen for women who have had a tubal. Hope that helps :)
