Is it common to start ballet at 15??

Question

ive wanted to do ballet for a few years now but never really get around to it.

but now i was just wondering if it was common for girls to start ballet for the first time at 15.

coz some people say its too late or somethin.

i just started too! i'm 15, let me tell ya, it hurts like a *****

what i did though to kind of get to where everyone else was was i did a bunch of stretching everyday. i aimed to get my splits down before i started. it didn'y happen though... i was sore half the time...

do it anyway it's fun

It is not to late to start ballet at the age of 15. Where I use to dance at there is a adult begginer ballet. Some adults take ballet for fun.  My sister is 22 and she is going to take ballet classes. She is a begginer too.

Sure!!

Many people at my studio start in their teens!

They usually go into a class called "Teen ballet"

Which is basically a class for begginer teens.

most people start when they're around 3 or 4... i started when i was 3..

but it's not too late. Some people pick up really fast..

A lot of ballerinas start when they are 3 or 4.

But it is not to late!!

Look at sabra Johnson the WInner Of So you think you can dance season 3 she had only been dancing 3 yrs before she won.

Anything is possible. YOU CAN DO IT!!
