I forgot to write that I mean this when making a rejected take-off.

  1. Yes, if they have to reject a take-off they want to use all available means to abort a takeoff and deploying spoilers/speedbrakes will destroy any lift and keep you on the ground.

  2. If the speedbrakes, reverse thrust, or autobrakes have been used it is too late for going around.

  3. At my airline if you forget during a check-ride to deploy the spoilers and reverse thrust you are going to go back and do it again. Do it enough times and you bust your ride. So yes it is "common" actually required.
