  1. i think his best days are behind him

  2. yes...i think if ronan o gara takes over the captaincy it will lift preassure off bod

  3. yes totally

  4. I hope not. I love that man to bits and still think he's an amazing player and captain for his side. I don't know who can replace him but in all walks of life there always someone to step into one's shoes

  5. Yea and he lost it a long time back. I also don't rate him as captain.......O'Gara is your man!!

  6. I don't think you can say he is, after two games!

  7. He's been pretty average since he bulked up a while ago..(2003/4),,

  8. I think he remains a very good player but is missing Darcy.

  9. Unfortunately time moves on . At his best a cut above any other centre in World Rugby.

Most people down here (NZ) rate him behind Mortlock and Umaga. Nonsense , In a team that was usually losing he was often the standout player.

He scored a classic try against us once , made it look so easy. 90% of our supporters didn't notice the skill..Most of the ones that did had played centre themselves.

Talk-back radio, newspaper comment was mostly about who to blame in the All Blacks. Went on for weeks.

  10. brian O'Driscoll is a brilliant player!

but yes true, he will eventually be replaced, the shelf life for a pro rugby player is very short...

but the trimbols and luke fitzgeralds of this world have the bar raised pretty high...

  11. He had a good game yesterday, its a pity we lost.

  12. Yeah i think hes been off form for some time now

  13. He was never crowned king.

Tana, and Morts still make, him look very ordinary. and Morts is injured, and Tana is retired.

Tiny little fraction of a man. Cry baby.

Edit: Alan: bit more to the midfeild than having twinkle toes and scoring off sets under the post. No one runs through Morts or Tana. How many tries have NZ wingers scored because of Tana . . . too many to count. Tana was 100 times the captain, player and man BOD will ever be.

  14. Well it does seem that way............
