Is it considered betrayal???

Question

if my friend's boyfriend told me he loved me but i never said anything back?? he's really really nice and all, i just don't know if i like him back, what should i do?

Is it you friends boyfriend or her ex boy friend?

if it is her current boyfriend; then the only "betrayal" was committed by him not you. Sure he may not be able to help how he feels about you but he should be able to respect you and your friend enough to break it off with her before starting anything with you. If he takes any more action with you or doesn't break it off soon (like within a week) then you owe it to your friend to tell her what happened.

If it is her ex boyfriend; and you think you may like him back i would suggest telling your friend how you feel now before anything serious occurs between the two of you, or she finds out from someone else.

And then take one day at a time to see if you really do have feelings for him. If he really does love you, he'll respect that.

But if he doesn't pursue with the relationship between you two and you don't think you like him that way. I'd just leave well enough alone.

It would hurt him but unsure if its a betrayal. And if this hasnt happend yet you shouldnt worry unless he is going to say I love you soon. and I guess you need to figure out how you feel for him. There really isnt any simple solution to that problem.
