  1. Murder is only used to regulate interactions between people of our own species.  So if you kill a human, it is murder.  And I suppose if an ant kils an ant it too would be murder.

However, for interspecies related things, Darwin handles that, and we just assume that the bug in question is just unfit to survive.

  2. Man is not the equivalent of a bug.  We are MUCH much higher on the "food chain" than bugs.

Murder only applies to humans, not animals.  We might kill and animal, but we can never murder it.  The exception are polic dogs.  Killing a police dog is the same as killing a human police officer.

But that all depends on state laws.

  3. Buddhists believe that it is wrong. Never take a job as a gardener in a Buddhist community. You have to watch the plants being eaten by bugs, which you can't harm.

  4. No, Murder is, by definition, the intentional and unlawful termination of another person's life.

Killing animals can land you cruelty to animal charges, depending on the situation.  However, such rules apply only to vertebrates.  It does not apply to invertebrates, hence why William Shatner and other cast members were permitted to blatantly crush tarantulas in front of the camera in his infamous movie "Kingdom of the Spiders", with many other tarantulas they bought for the movie died of improper care or neglect.

  5. Well, i think by killing one little bug, there are many many bugs in the world. We are human, we go threw rules and such, but bugs live their own life, and by killing a bug by accident, you probably wouldn't notice ! I guess it's the circle of life.
