  1. IGNORE THE OTHER ANSWERS!  if nobody lives there, go right ahead.  if cops show up on the scene, explain to them the truth.  tell them you're ghost hunting and nobody lives on the premises.  i'm sure the cops would understand.  worst case scenario, the police would call your parents and tell them to pick you up.  seriously, you've got nothing to loose.

the people telling you it's trespassing don't know what it's like to take risks and get involved in adventure.  if this property really was owned by someone, it would be a differet case. but right now, it sounds kosher and you'll have a good time.

    HAPPY GHOST HUNTING!

  2. Technically, this is not trespassing if there is no sign. But to get into the spirit of the law, if thsou house is not yours and the owner of the house demanded you to go out and you refuse to, he can file for trespassing cae. However, in this abandoned house, noone will tell you to move out and there is no sign, then it is not!

You know that there should be a sign in order to constitute it as trespassing.

  3. Ghosts aren't real

you are gonna waste your time..

  4. Yes it is most definitely trespassing.

If you were caught inside the house it might also be considering breaking and entering or unlawful entry which would be considered a worse crime.

It is also extremely dangerous for you to be going into abandoned buildings by yourself.  You don't know the layout and probably don't have the expertise to recognize potentially dangerous situations like rotting floors ceilings.  You could also be potentially inhaling toxins like asbestos or mould.

I'm not saying you shouldn't go exploring but make sure you are careful.  Always go with a friend or two and make sure everyone has a cell phone, a flash light and some water.  It's also a good idea to wear steel toed work boots and a respirator.

It's great to be curious but it's much better to be safe than sorry.

  5. If it's not yours, it's trespassing.

  6. Absolutely against the law for you to be on someone else property, entering a building that is not yours.  It qualifies as trespass.

  7. yes

And that whole story that its haunted is probably just an urban legend don't even waste your time with it.

  8. It is trespassing and you should not be there. If it is that old it is also likely not safe and someone could get really hurt

  9. Yes, it is trespassing, which is a crime and you could end up in jail.

But, if there are ghosts there it might be worth the risk.

It is unlikely that the house has been there 200 years unoccupied without falling down, unless you are in the desert the elements would destroy the house in about 20 years.

    Good Luck

  10. If you do not own the property and you have not been invited onto the property, it is tresspassing.
