Is it correct that the uk and usa can not exchange photo sharing and web cam and other features in yahoo IM?

My friend in the UK says he does share photos and web cam with other contacts in the USA but he can not with me, my Yahoo IM says "this contacts version doesnt support photo sharing and web camming". What's going on with this...thks

from what you say of error, your version or others version are not the same, so possible script coding cant translate, find out which versions are being used by both persons,
