  1. NO it is not correct.

Nebula's are made up of various gases and dust.

They are also known as Stella Nurseries as this is where Stars are created.

  2. I would say it depends on what you're doing for the hen night? If you're having a night out you could maybe start off the night with a drink at home/hotel and give them each a bottle of mini moet and a little bracelet or something sweet for everyone to wear. What is your budget like and what are hen night plans?

  3. It's definately not smoke, because smoke needs air to exist.

  4. no ther are not smoke they are dust, gas etc but they look like smoke. and the dust over ther is remaining of stars..

  5. no. Nebula's are the 'nurseries' of stars. It is were they are formed. Often they are made of gas and dust from previous stars and galaxies. This is why it looks like 'smoke'

  6. no, its a mixture of gases

smoke implies combustion, impossible in space as there is no oxygen, which is needed for combustion to take place

  7. nebulas look like smoke through a telescope, but they are anything but. really, nebulas are collections of dusts and gases.

  8. No. The early telescopes could not resolve galaxies clearly. They looked like nebulous smudges, hence the term.  As telescopes improved the term nebula came to mean the massive gasseous 'formations' that are the birthplace of stars.  Stellar foundaries, if you will.

  9. No - when they were first seen, no one was sure what they were, but they looked like patches of mist, hence the name.

There are many types, but they are gaseous, not made of smoke (Smoke is particulate matter resulting from incomplete combustion)
