Is it correct to use the word else as in somebody else? If so, can you make it plural? I keep trying to type else's but i know that it isn't right. Please help!

  1. Somebody or someone else is correct.

I suggest you use something like 'some other people' to rescue you from your dilemma. It would help if you gave the rest of your sentence or some context clues.

  2. You can say, "Is somebody else home?" for example, but you can't make "somebody else" plural in any way. What you wrote there "somebody else's" is the possessive pronoun, used like this, "Is this somebody else's car?".

  3. I'm not sure - maybe "somebodies else"?

  4. You can't show else as a plural, but you can show it as having possession, like " in someone elses' car"
