Is it costly to run a boat?

i want to buy a small boat 5-7 m length yamhar 1gm10 boat engine its a colvic 21 sea fisher im 24 and have no experience but i would consider purchasing it for £2,900 price is there insurance i would like to get a trailer for it as i live inland and what are the costs any help appreciated

  3. its all in what you want at your age i had nearly 10 years of cruising under my belt,I am 44 now on my 16 motor yacht and worked hard to get here,but the cost is like anything the bigger  the higher the cost,this girl is a 52 ft Chris craft it is around a 100 to 200 aday to run but i really do not stop alot to think about it.If i did i would be in a trailer park some where,the fuel is really getting out of hand a fill up is now well over 2 grand,then the up keep is another and god forbid a break down which can happen anytime
