  1. I think so.. you  may be able to find good prices on rooms, but activites and food is expensive.

That said if you shop around for the pakage deals, and meal plans, you can make it work.

  2. YES!!

We went and tried to save as much money as possible, and we ended up spending 10 thousand dollars for just 4 days...

We stayed at atlantis, paradise island, and we did stay at the Royal Towers which was pretty expensive, you can stay at the cheaper hotels, we just didnt want to stay in a crappy hotel on the best vacation ever, you know waht i mean?

As for the food, get the food package deal, we didnt and we ended up paying more for food than we would have for the package deal.

We didnt really venture in nassau to eat becasue we didnt have enough time to go out there for food, and you dont need to spend money to tour nassau, because when you get to paradise island, you end up going all thru nassau to get to paradise island!

Try to split meals, you might have to eat a little lighter to save money.

You haveeee to tip the people alot, so try not to have too many people help you. lol

Uuhhh lets see, dont take a cruise there it costs way more money! We flew it took 2 planes for us. Try to use travelosity or expedia to help you with getting the best deal.

Dont get a rental car, there are busses you can take to go where ever for free. (if you stay in the atlantis area)

I think thats about it, ATLANTIS IT THE BEST PLACE EVER!!

The sand is pure white, and the water is clearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!...

It was the best vacation for us, they have like 10 swimming pools, and a lasy river, and a mile long rough waters river, it is really fun!! and scarey lol.

The BEST SLIDES!! just remeber if you go on the slides with intertoobs on the ones that are connected to the river, hold your bottom up, there are alot of hard bumps, and they hurt like c**p! lol.

    HAVE A GOOD TIME!!

  3. it is cheaper to go to Grand Bahama Island, and I actually think it is nicer..but in all it isnt that expensive in teh bahamas, but the time of year has a lot to do with it

  4. No it's actually really cheap if you go in the summer... it's hurricane season, you can stay in a nice nice hotel and have a package for like $400 of course that doesn't include airfare... check out packages on any travel site.... it's very cheap... I went in August, and I stayed for 2 weeks at sandals, and it was around $800 for 2 weeks at the resort, that included almost everything... besides spending money and airfare. i would say i spent like $1500 total...

  5. It really depends where you are staying and how many days you will be visiting.

I would recommend buying a package (air and land) to save some money.

here are a couple of sites to check prices.

If you go after the high season, you will save some money. April 15th-Dec 15th, the rates are usually less expensive. However, be prepared, it's hurricane season June 1st to Nov 30th. May or June are great months to travel to the Bahamas.

    Good Luck and enjoy)
