Is it crazy that I am so competitive?

Question

I joined this site late last year and though I have over 30% Best Answers, it is not enough for me. Also, I am yet to crack the Top Ten of any of the leaderboards. I would love to soon get my own computer, take it to the max with voting and answering, most of not all in one specific category, and hope they ALL be picked as Best Answer. Should I bother? Should it matter? Am I wrong to be so competitive? What do you think?

I agree with Gibsy - you are taking it a bit too serious, try enjoying it for what it is and you'll be hooked - and your points and levels will go up!

its nice to have ambitions and to aim higher each time ......but as Julien said you can't take yahoo points to the bank can you ? nothing wrong with being competitive but is the prize worth it ?? you not even getting a prize on yahoo hehehe ......maybe if you dedicated your time in a more beneficial area ? work ? school ?sports ? some sorta hobby ? .....but hey if this really means alot to you then bro whatever floats your boat ....

Babes, while there is nothing wrong with a healthy sense of competition, you're taking this a bit too seriously.  As long as we have all been here, we still haven't even figured out what criteria Yahoo uses to determine the Top Ten.  

We come here to lime with each other, to laugh with each other, to listen to each other and to learn from each other. All the rest is gravy. Just relax and enjoy. Doh frighten, everything else will take care of itself.

I also am a very competitive person....while being over competitive can be some people's downfall it is my strength.  Being competitve and striving hard for what you want gets you ahead in life.
