Question:

Is it crazy to try on my own?

I was put on clomid because I didn't ovulate on my own. And 100mg worked for me, I got pg and had m\c at 8wks. last month tried clomid again and didn't work. I have this feeling that I want to try on my own. I think if I got extremely healthy and lost about 20lbs I could maybe start ovulating again. I have the clear-blue easy fertility monitor and I have ovualted in the past once by myself. Has this worked for anybody after trying for so long? I'm going to leave it in gods hands. Please share your stories with me for a little inspiration and luck!

  1. Well no you are not crazy there is nothing wrong with wanting to acheive a pregnancy on your own!!! But dont completely rule the chlomid out remember you can always go back to it!!!!

My bfs sister tried for 5 years and was told that she would probably never have a baby on her own so they refered her for ivf and this failed twice but she got herself a persona fertility monitor and used it religiously for 8 months until she ovulated and she now has a beautiful baby girl to show for it.  It would definitely be worth a try but may take some time like my boyfriends sister realised but her baby girl made it worth all the wait.  Hope you experience the same joy as her.

Also I was on chlomid for 5 months and I am now 30 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy after trying for 2 and a half years.

You have 2 success stories now so you can make the decision that suits you best.

Good Luck on getting that BFP and doing it all on your own.  I wish you all the best and hope you dont have to wait aslong as my boyfriends sister to ovualte!!!!

  2. i have never been in your position and i am sorry that i dont have good advice for you..but i have heard when you kinda give up on the medical aspect...that god will bless you...it cant hurt to try...

  3. maybe you could try on your own for a bit if tha'ts what you want get as healthy as possible lose weight, no drinking, smoking, eating healthy excersing ect, but i think you need to give yourself a time limit on it if it doesnt work say after 6 months you'll go back to the gyno and get some more treatment

least if you do all those things then even if it doesnt work you'll be inthe best possible shape for it to work

if you have pcos you could get metformin this sometimes helps with pcos.

also get some fertilly books such as zita west taking charge of your fertilly

    good luck x*x
