I couldnt go, and left the country without seeing her again, now Im heading back there for good, is it creepy to add her on facebook this far down the track or have i missed the boat?

  1. As long as you send a message to her with the add.

For example, "Hi, remember me?" or "you look familar - weren't you the girl I met at the party blah blah blah...."

The person would usually "add" you back if  she replies to your  message.

To be honest, I messaged my old friends back at high school - most of them weren't that excited to see me again even though they added me as a friend. I can tell this simply by reading the message that contains only 2/3 words ie. Hi, how's it going?

In your case... go for it - you got nothing to loose.

  2. Probably not, unless she's really paranoid. When you send her the friend request, send a message saying something like "Hey, remember me? We had a good time with [whoever your friends were] at [whatever the place was]". There's a good chance that she's thinking about you as well, and she'll probably be happy that you sent her the request.

  3. I don't think it's creepy at all. Personally I even get added by people I barely know. Adding her would be a good way to keep in touch. :)

  4. If you are going to add her, don't just add her. There is nothing wrong with life getting in the way of a relationship, but to pretend like nothing happened and just add her would be a little weird. Could be she is waiting for you to make contact, so go for it.

But send her a message, too. Apologize for missing her at the party, tell her you've been busy but you are moving there soon, and casually mention that you hope you guys can get together sometime. Maybe she'll respond positively or maybe you'll just have another FB friend, but at least it won't be weird.
