  1. don't know if it customary but it's up to you i guess if you think the plumber deserves the tip for a job well done

  2. no way. they get paid enough.

  3. Plumbers are usually business owners in the sense they are self employed contractors, so no ... no tip.

    Tipping is for staff, only.

    Cheers :-)

  4. Don't they get paid enough already? I mean, do you tip your stockbroker, banker, accountant, or doctor? If you work in an Autoshop and your plumber has you fix his car, would he tip you?

Money is stretched too tight these days to pay a well-salaried person for more than they earned.

  5. ive never heard of tipping the plumber, they charge outrageous prices to begin with so why would you give them a tip?

  6. yes

  7. h**l no.

These people are getting paid like 120,000 dollars a year.

If they are the owners of the outfit, they are millionairs.

  8. No, you don't tip the plumber.

  9. You basically suppose to tip almost any service but I never heard of tipping a plumber. I also never called on before.

  10. I have never heard of "tipping" a plumber or any other contractor that comes into homes to do repairs. They are very well paid.

  11. if your a guy no, if your a female it is customary to say (in a s**y voice) "ohhh, i dont have any money to pay you, is there any other way i can pay you?" then you turn on some berry white and its end of story
