Is it dangerous if there is heat emitting from my Microwave Oven?

Was cooking a pot pie the other day for about 10-13 minutes.

Felt heat coming from the bottom coming out, is this evidence of a leak??

no, it's just a little heat. The object inside is getting hot, that heat has to go somewhere.

Probably not.  Microwave ovens are vented to let out heat and steam.  As an example, built-in microwaves often connect to a vent pipe for this purpose.
