  1. It's actually not a good idea to do anything not needed while you are pregnant. My aunt is a piercer and has a tattoo artist at her shop as well, neither will work on pregnant women. It can introduce germs that can harm your baby. Also it takes energy to heal and your baby needs that energy. You will have plenty of time to get it done when your baby is born Your baby needs you to stay healthy so it can stay healthy. It's not forever, and I think that it's well worth not taking the chance.

  2. Do not do that!!! It's not worth lying to get a tatoo if it puts your baby's health in danger.

  3. NO NO NO, do NOT get a tattoo while pregant, you risk getting infections, HIV from a needle and possible poisoning from the ink. i remember joking about getting a tattoo at my first prenatal appointment and my doctor stoped dead in her tracks and looked at me and screamed NOOOOO.

just wait it out. and besides your going to put on weight being pregnant so you dont want your tattoos to look all funny when your skin stretches and then unstretches.

  4. Here's a quote from pregnancy.org:

    "I'm pregnant and want a tattoo/piercing

It is not advisable to have any body decoration procedure that would involve breaking the skin while you are pregnant. This includes procedures like piercing, tattooing or scarification. Most studios have made it a policy not to perform tattoos or piercings on anyone pregnant or breastfeeding. When you get a tattoo or piercing, you face a small chance of an allergic reaction or an infection. It just isn't worth the risk when you can just wait a few extra months and then get the tattoo or piercing you desire.

Any invasive procedure normally involves a small risk of infection. If you are pregnant, this might adversely affect your baby. You also risk contracting a blood borne disease if the needles used are not properly sterilized or are contaminated in some way. Your body is changing and you have enough to worry about without the added worry of caring for a new piercing. It is better to have a piercing completely healed before becoming pregnant; otherwise it might not heal properly until after your baby is born."

  5. I know a girl that had a tattoo on her back which caused her a horrid staff infection.  She got pregnant and lost a baby because of it.  It took months for the staff infection to clear up.

  6. Yeah just don't get it anywhere that will stretch:P

  7. No! You should most definitely NOT get a tatoo. The ink is not a good idea. Please don't do it.

  8. I got my daughter's foot prints on my foot a day before I found out I was pregnant... Now if you tell a tat shop you are pregnant they will not do it... so just not tell them and get it clean...

  9. Truthfully, it may not be to safe.Even thou there is very little chance you may catch anything there still is that chance. Besides If you tell them your pregnant there is a good chance they're not going to do it anyways.

  10. yes it is they will ask you and if you say yes they wont do it it will mess up ur blood

  11. thats not safe, and when you go to your appointment theres usually paperwork to fill out, and if you say your pregnant, they will refuse to do it
