Two daddy long leg spiders have mated and now there are white sacks on their web about 6 or 7-is it safe to say those are babies? And is it safe for me to sleep in the same room as them?

  1. Daddy long legs are on the list of most poisonous spiders. But they can't open their mouths wide enough to bite you, and their fangs are too short to penetrate human skin.

The white sacks are either insects the spiders have caught and are saving for later, or they could be egg sacks.  But if they are egg sacks, it's safe to say they won't hatch - They need to be on the mother's back until they hatch to keep warm, like any other animal, they need to be incubated.

Sleeping with them is fine. Why wouldn't it be?

Unless you're just worried about them falling into your mouth while you're asleep, don't worry - The average human swallows 6 - 8 dozen spiders in their lifetime.

A little extra protein will never hurt you.

  2. No

  3. LOL!

    unless their poison spiders..

  4. Surely one of the spiders must be a mummy long- legs, unless they have adopted. I wouldn't worry about them, they are harmless and help control flies and mosquitos.

  5. not dangerous.

  6. hey, i dont think they would stay very long once they have hatched, but if ur scared of spiders . . .run lol :)

  7. tes, they are NOT poisonous at all! spiders are, but even so its such a tiny amount that it wouldnt even concuss you if a million bit you :3
