Specifically ones with plant-based sufricants and wood ash. I did not actually "mix" the cleaners, just used hydrogen peroxide and baking soda and then wiped with a paper towel and then wiped again with a biodegradable cleaner. I used Holy Cow and Method's wipes to degrease and the peroxide to disinfect. But I just want to know if this is safe.

  1. I wouldn't use them at the same time---don't know the chemistry but the oxide does have free oxygen molecules which promotes burning chemical reaction ?

  2. Hydrogen peroxide is naturally produced as a byproduct of oxygen metabolism, and virtually all organisms possess enzymes known as peroxidases, which apparently harmlessly catalytically decompose low concentrations of hydrogen peroxide to water and oxygen.

Diluted H2O2 (around 15%) is used to bleach human hair, hence the phrase "peroxide blonde". It is absorbed by skin upon contact and creates a local skin capillary embolism which appears as a temporary whitening of the skin.

ow concentrations of hydrogen peroxide, on the order of 3% or less (drug store variety), will chemically bleach many types of clothing to a pinkish hue. Caution should be exercised when using common products that may contain hydrogen peroxide, such as facial cleaner or contact lens solution, which easily splatter upon other surfaces.

After dental surgery many people use H2O2 as a mouth wash to kill bacteria being carfull not to swallow. If swallowed the worst case is diarrhea.

    What you did is harmless.
