Shower with a tampon in? Are there health issues with this or is it okay?

It's absolutely fine. If anything, it's good! It's not healthy if soap or body wash enters the v****a, so the tampon might help reduce the risk of an infection. Just make sure to change your tampon as instructed on the box.

I swim and shower -- pretty much everyday -- including when I am using a tampon.

The only problems that I have ever had - was trying to change one in the shower. complete waste .....

Just make sure to change them frequently!!

it's ok, it might get soggy and you'd probably have to change it. It would be better not to but if you're like in a public shower then yeah it's ok.

There shouldn't be a problem. Tampons are designed to enable the wearer to do things they couldn't while wearing a pad, like swimming. If you could swim while wearing one, you can shower while wearing one.

I personally don't because I am trying to take a shower to get clean. But no there are no health risks or anything.

It's perfectly fine to shower, take a bath, or swim with a tampon in. Just be sure to change it regularly (at least every 4-6 hours).

It's fine...Just I wouldn't recommend it for hygene

purposes. During your period I think you should

be cleaning that area every chance you get.........lol

oh no, go ahead. it's actually more.. sanitary to shower with a tampon in, ESPECIALLY on those heavy days, if you know what i mean

yeah i do it all the time, how is that gross, it is just like using a tampon out of the shower, u bleed no matter what...people, they are freckin idiots.but yeah its safe lol. i dont know bout the bath tub though.
