Is it dangerous to swim in the ocean when on your period?

Just wondering about the whole blood & sharks thing. I know they are sensitive to blood & tampons DO LEAK!!!

i heard thats just a myth, but check to see if there is a shark warning that day, other than that youre most likely fine. and no your period does not stop when you get in the water....
