I have health anxiety and so have the worst trouble sleeping ever. I started taking Natrasleep tablets around 3-4 weeks ago but have been using them every night. I usually take 2 a night but if I'm having real trouble I take 3, but not that often.

Anyway, this is every night, and although they're herbal tablets, I was wondering if they're going to be harming me in any way? I heard that Stearates are bad? And there's a few E numbers in there. Is this really bad.

I'm gonna post the ingredients just incase this helps:

Active ingredients: Hops powder extract 5:1 (33.4mg) equivalent to 167mg of Hops powder. Valerian powder extract 4:1 (62.5 mg) equivalent to 250mg of valerian powder.

Each tablet also contains: Calcium phosphate, Croscarmellose, Sodium, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Silicon Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Maltodextrin, Glucose Syrup, Hypromellose, Purified Talc, Titanium Dioxide (E171), Copper Chlorophyllin (E141), Vegetable Carbon Black (E153).

  1. well, any type of pill herbal or not is never gonna really be really "good" for your body. keep in mind that everything you eat gets filtered out through your liver, and over time taking two or three pills a night can really tire it out. its true that herbal medicines arent as bad as others but that doesnt mean you should take them as often as you are now. maybe you should go to your doctor and get a second opinion about it.
