There are two theories here.

1) If i don't tint the front windshield, pebbles or stone will damage or may cause injuries to the passenger if it hits the front.

2) If i tint, there is a risk of preventing rescue operation in progress to get to the passenger if accidents happen.

  1. I don't know which state your in but in the province of ontario, its illegal to tint the front windshield. if its illegal in my province, chances are it's probably illegal in yours. if it isn't then it should be.

Secondly, if it is legal i really suggest you do not just for your own safety, what if perhaps one day you chose to visit some friends or relatives who live out in the burbs and they don't have street lamps on their RR or county road, and tinted windshield reduces ur visibility and hence reduces your reaction time. its just not safe man. don't take the chance, and save ur self some money at the same time.

  2. You dont need to tint the windshield, remember it is safety glass and tinting the windshield in all states is illegal but you can tint the front in some states (4 to 6) inches from the top).

  3. Your argument is no good. Windshields are laminated glass. Any object that can get through the windshield will go right through the thin window tint film. I know of no states that permit the tinting of the front windshield.

I assume you meant "shatter-proof glass", not shattered glass proof.
