Show me one instance where the GOP has made fun of a handicapped child of a candidate!

When Jesse Ventura ran for Governor of MN both parties laid off his daughter Jade who has some disabilities... Even his biggest detractors refused to go this low.

  1. I haven't heard anybody making an issue about the child per se.

In my opinion, what is fair to discuss is how a still nursing mother of 5 kids, the last one being 6 months old, will be able to dedicate herself completely to the very important task of being the vice-president of a country.

Let's imagine that she has a health crises in her family and that she is in another country. Which job will she drop first: the vice-presidency or motherhood? Which one she will delegate to other people? If she delegates her family problem to his husband and relatives, would it be fair to her kids and what would it say about her character? Or should she drop her fellow citizens?

Personally, as a woman, if I had FIVE kids, the younger being months old and with special needs, I would never, ever, sacrifice my family for professional ambitions. One kid would be sort of manageable but five, no. It was my choice to have put them in this world, therefore I'm responsible to raise them the best I can and be there for them. That would and ought to be my priority.

  2. Children in the Presidential race are usually left alone.

The issue is not on her child, but regarding her political platforms.

  3. If anyone picks on a child for political gain, then this world ha become a very sick place to be and we better pray for God to come and change it. Her child has a very special place in Gods heaven so hopefully these idiots wont even think of such a terrible thing. As an ex Viet Nam vet/POW if they attack this child, Ill be the first to defend him against the evil of our country

  4. It's both.  Remember how the Clintonistas made a huge deal about a little Saturday Night Live skit that poked a little bit at Chelsea?  I presume they're all OK with this vicious smear job.

  5. The democrat politicians have no morals and those who vote for them don't have the common sense to read between the lines.

I would rather vote for an old guy who fought for this country instead of an arrogant punk who would not salute the flag.

  6. Both. Predictably despicable.

  7. I am not a Palin supporter but am dismayed how many people find it necessary to bring her baby into this uglyness.

  8. I find it despicable, but would not say it to be predictable of the left to attack her on this issue. I am appalled by the lack of decency and would have hoped that neither side would attack a female politician in such a deplorable manner. Stick to her policies, folks. Leave her kids out of it.

  9. Predictable...because they would leave it out in the bushes for the wolves to get...she cares for hers...

  10. I put nothing past Obama worshipers.  They are truly sick people.  They make me ashamed to be a Democrat.

  11. Both

  12. Both. It is called grasping at straws.

  13. The CNN news anchor in Dayton OH on Friday August 28, 2008.

"This woman just had a baby in April with Down's Syndrome.  How is she able to be Vice President and care for her child"?

Image if someone said this about a female Democrat candidate.

Yet, All I heard were crickets twirping from the hypocrites at CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC and the other leftist news outlets.

  14. Both, everyone seen it coming a mile away. It shows the level of maturity and desperation from the left.

  15. It's a low blow, however, as soon as Karl Rove/McCAin open campaign of outrages lies, everything goes. It only would be fair to use any mean lies about McCain/Sarah. Republicans- you are getting what you deserve. Stop whining

  16. Modern left wing Liberal = hate monger.

    Predictable.

  17. Both.

    No surprises at all.
