I mean, you have people like me always having a go at you and telling you how illogical it all it is, and having to put up with atheists c**p.. etc..

and then you have the rules you have to follow, such as going to church every sunday, praying, trying not to sin, trying not to have impure thoughts etc etc..

It seems like a lot of work... is it hard living the lifestyle of christianity?

  1. NO.....as you can see, even typing this answer was easy

  2. Oh please.

Christianity is the easiest thing ever, cuz they rest on "God did it" and follow his rules, instead of using their brain and realizing "chance did it", and making up your own rules.

It takes superior brain power, and lots of insight to be an atheist.  No one realizes how hard we have it.

    I'm Atheist!

  3. It's arduous, but I'm managing.  It's a continual work in progress, like any relationship worth having.  Life isn't meant to be easy.

  4. all our trials and tribulations are different.

The bible says our sin or weakness dictate the nature of our trials or tribulations.

i would not call talking about jesus a burden, though it is amusing at times the questions asked or comments made, also at times offensive and hurtful.

It is good being able to defend and stand up or Jesus when people ask us excellent and even difficut questions.

it's an opportunity that is a pleasure, not many like to discuss in a regular social setting, that sort of thing happens in church or events occassionally with friends or relatives etc..

  5. it is just as God said it would be my children will be persecuted throughout the land nothing more than proof God is real so whether you atheists like it or not your very existence proves God is real

  6. Im a Chrisitan, and I have people tell me all the time I am mad etc... My friend who beleives in ghosts and oija boards once said to me, "how can you believe that, I mean REALLY?" lol

I dont go to church, I pray, and I try not to sin, but I still do of course, and I drink and Im not married and in a 6 year relationship.

    I live a regualr life.

  7. NO.

IT IS DIFFICULT TO BE IRRELIGIOUS.

    LOVE

    PLUTO

  8. the religion dont even make sense!!!!

    how can jesus be:

    1. god

    2. son of god

    and 3. the holy spirit

all in one, think about it, there was not one christian out there who was able to answer this question as you can see im still waiting for one from a christian. plus apparently jesus died for their sins....what the???....why should GOD, SUFFER for us sinners....now that really dont make sense...

ppl just go to the priest and confess their sins...then they are forgiven...HOW EASY IS THAT?....i mean who is to judge? the priest or GOD.

i found ALL the answers in ONE religion.... that is islam....it makes so much sense now, just try it and put aside all the critisism and stereotypes that are all false aside and think.... now that is easy

  9. Living is hard.

  10. It is not difficult, try to check this like that help u more things http://www.ethiopianorthodox.org/english...

  11. In my 38 yrs as a Christain, it is NOT hard to be a Christain,Yes we all will be tested & tried,But with the Holy Ghost as our comfortor we will overcome. I was tested when I lost my wife of 21 yrs, My father-in-law, My mother-in-law, My own Parents, 2 neices, & now just 4 months ago I lost one of my brothers, We were very close, we hunted together & live next door with each other, My wife & I & his wife & I were very close. I pay no attention to these mockers, it is like playing a broken record over & over, they can not get pass the thought that there is no God, But they are 38 yrs too late to tell me.

  12. Jesus never said that being one of his followers would be empty.  On the contrary he said at Luke 13:22-24, "And he journeyed through from city to city and from village to village, teaching and continuing on his journey to Jerusalem. 23 Now a certain man said to him: “Lord, are those who are being saved few?” He said to them: 24 “Exert yourselves vigorously to get in through the narrow door, because many, I tell YOU, will seek to get in but will not be able."

But whatever we have to put up with from this world will be worth it.  We have many blessing right now and much more to come when we get everlasting life on the paradise earth under the kingdom rule of Jesus Christ.

  13. sure on one hand it is.... i don't go around doing whatever i want to do or do things that are foolish or such. i have a moral clause that's a little more self depraving then others. i guilt myself more often but ya know - it's okay by me. after all that Christ did for me - opting to live my life as a Christian woman is my CHOICE it's not something that was forced upon me.  Nothing in this life comes free and if it did then you had to work very hard to get it.  if you ddin't and it was still free - something is wrong somewhere and it's nothing i would then want.  following the rules are easy when it's something you really want and something that brings you great pleasure & peace.  if you have children you understand that raising them IS hard but the reqards are great.

  14. It can be difficult at times but not really for the reasons you mention.

People rarely give me grief, there have been a few things over the years but not much really.

There are surprising few hard rules in Christian living. My husband and I often say that it sure is a wonderful thing that we do not have to follow a set of rules to earn salvation or we would be in serious trouble.

The things that would have proven impossible to do prior to my new birth are now possible because it is God Himself that enables me.

I've always liked the line from a Derek Webb song:

"For this grace gives me fear and this grace draws me near, and all that it asks it provides".

It's much like the line from Amazing Grace:

"Twas grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved."

The use of the word fear shows how God in His mercy reveals the state of a human held in the grip of sin and how quickly and earnestly God puts to death that sin. Free indeed.

  15. YES, but Jesus says that people gave him a hard time so those that believe in him will also have a hard time ( I'm power phrasing here..)

There are many people who do not want to know about Jesus & fine that's there choice so I don't push them to do so, but wouldn't you rather belive in something that could be true then NOT believe in

Jesus @ all and find out everything about him is true ? !

In todays world YES, it's hard to be a Christian, we are suppose to be a reflection of Jesus to others & that's NOT easy at all

Thanks for the interesting question :>)

  16. nah, its more difficult dealing with a christian

  17. Not hard; it's just challenging^^

  18. It's pointless. That's for sure.

  19. Totally, unless you are blind enough to go with the narrow minded monothetic c**p till your bitter end and ignore all better stuff than this.

  20. no being a true christian is not easy, if you look at how Jesus and the diciples lived they did not leave very easy lives. however they were fufiled and were happy in what they did. when you truely love God and want to live for him then its all worth it and you enjoy doing it, I do.

  21. It is not hard at all,  no harder than say, laying out in the warm sunshine.  Christians aren't prudes, but try not to be openly vulgar.

To those who pretend to be smarter than God, well, you just have to smile and see them like you look at pre-teens.    Unaware!
