Is that a good way to get around? I am on a cruise of the greek isles and have a limited amount of time on the islands and want to do my own thing on my own time. Has anyone rented bikes before?

  1. Yes it is both difficult and dangerous. When I went on a cruise to Greek islands and Kusadassi I saw how steep and small the roads are and was wondering how someone could drive in them.Do yourself a favor and walk :)

  2. Sure, it's fine. As long your not on a Main Road... private little Villages its fine... heck, WALKING is fine!

  3. I rented a moped in Mykonos, and it was great to travel around the island, like from Mykonos town to the beaches, but I wouldn't ride it through the narrow alleys right in the town. It would be obnoxious, you run into steps sometimes, there are lots of people walking around, and some shops have displays outside.  I parked mine on the edge of the village and took it to the beaches.
