Is it difficult to get certified at Starbucks? (Starbucks Baristas)?

Fellow partners and ex-partners, is it difficult to get certified at Starbucks? I'm plan on asking my Manager to certify me but sometimes I feel that I'm not prepared.

She's seen me work on hot bar and says that I do a really great job, and if you've made one Frappuccino, you've made them all. They're all pretty much second nature after you've made your second one.

So, my question is this:

How does the certification process go? What am I going to need to make/prepare/know?

During the certification, your manager will ask you to do the following:

-Perform at the register, providing Legendary Service

-Actively sample a pastry

-Perform a complete lobby slide (including checking the merchandise, tables, and chairs)

-Prepare a few hot, iced, and blended beverages.



Your manager will ask you to prepare a coffee press and you will have a discussion regarding safety and beverage standards, proving Legendary Service, etc.

omg its so easy if u can make all the drinks your fine... you just need to know how all the drinks are made cause they just ask you to make whatever comes to your mind... dont frett its so easy and it not like there guna fire you
