  1. hi , quotas just help you in short time . to execute sales advise you should read more than a book .

  2. Really depends on the company. Some companies require no experience, no degree. Other companies require a degree and no experience.

    Some companies require a four year degree or better, Some companies, prefer a for year degree but will take you if experience outweighs your degree.

    The company I work for now requires at least 5 years experience and a four year degree. I have both.

It's like all sales jobs in that it can be very challenging but can be done.  I've worked for several companies where teh inside sales reps did better achieving quota than the outside reps because they had more accounts and were able to spend more time in the office following up than commuting to meetings.  The key, I've witnessed, is staying focsed, organized and optimistic.
