Is it difficult to replace the wheel barings on a 2001 sunfire?

I'm an okay backyard mechanic but have not done this kind of work before

  1. front or rear are easy to do if your a backyard mechanic you can handle it just make sure you take out bolts throu bigger hole and they do have torx heads too


  2. On the fronts, you must remove the rotors, calipers and pads, and you'd be installing hubs with electronic ABS sensors, bearings, and the 5 studs.  A pretty big job, I would go with a mechanic.

  3. you did not specify, front or rear. Tuff to give you help with out knowing that. best advise I can give is to buy a Hayes or chilton's manual. and to look on line at either advance auto parts or auto zone for parts. I believe you will find they are hub  style bearings up front, I'm not sure about the rears.
