Is it easier for a fat person to lose pounds than for a thinner person?

Will the same amount of exercise make them both lose as many pounds?

nope it harder smaller people to loose weight. but fat people when they hit a certain weight its hard for them too.

The heavier you are the quicker you will lose weight at first.  But the closer to their ideal goal the harder it will be to lose the last few pounds.

So yes it can be harder for a thinner person to lose those extra few pounds.

A bigger person will lose more weight faster than a little person, this is because their metabolism will be much quicker.

chances are YES, because the fatter person will start to lose excess pounds and it will be noticed quicker.  This is why people get excited when they first start working out/dieting and notice immediate (2 -3 weeks) changes, but then get discouraged later when they start to slow down in the slimming down.

Not necessary at all cases...at the end of the day it depends on whether the way they eat and the combination of exercises they do really give the muscles enough energy to burn off excess fat as optimum as possible while minimizing loss of muscle mass...

the less you have to lose the longer it takes for those pounds to come off. Even when you are a larger person and you get down to the last few pounds, it takes a lot of hard work and time to get them off.

No, it all depends on the food plan each has and the amount of exercise they are willing to do to lose the weight.

You must lose all the starchy and other carbos in your food plan in order to lose any weight at all. Then you must exercise like a demon to get the weight off and keep it off.
