  1. For me, being veg@n is a lot easier!

  2. vegetarian

  3. I think its easier being a vegetarian. WIth veganism, your choices are very much more limited than if youre just a vegetarian.

  4. I would think it is harder to be Vegan.  Vegans cut-out all animal products so that would mean no more make-up, perfume, jello, mayo, hydraulic fluid...etc  There are so many products that use animal products.  I think it would take a lot of reading and research just to find out you can only eat beans and rice (but don't eat rice at the Chinese restaurants because most use something called "blood pudding" in the making of their rice, which is derived from pig's blood).  Good Luck with whatever you choose!

  5. It's easier to be vegetarian especially when eating in restaurants or helping your friends and family understand why you are veg.

But I find being vegan to be much more rewarding.  It's an adventure, and one that I will never regret.

  6. well it's easier in my opinion to be a vegetarian instead of vegan because you do get more choices but I'm a vegan because I think it's more healthy

  7. I think it's easier to be a vegetarian simply because there are more choices of things to eat - AND it's cheaper then trying to go totally vegan. I tried the vegan thing for a bit and it didn't really work for me, I was constantly checking labels and realizing most things I was used to didn't work anymore. Plus, I just got frustrated.

That was a few years ago, I am not even a vegetarian, though most of what I cook is. I just decided that I like chicken and fish too much, but very sparingly. Anyway - that's just my opinion -

  8. It is much easier to be a vegetarian than a vegan.  A vegan is a 100% vegetarian, they eat food that only comes from plants such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, and grains.  They don't eat anything that comes from animals including eggs, dairy, gelatin or fat.  They also don't wear anything that comes from animals, such as leather or wool, and  they don't use anything on your everyday life that has been tested on animals, such as cosmetics.

A vegetarian also tries to have most of their diet from plants, but some a semi-vegetarians, that eat meat, but only chicken and fish,,others don't eat meat, but comsumed milk, cheese, eggs or butter. There are different kind of vegetarians, but most of them try to eat very little meat or avoid it completely.

  9. vegetarians can still eat dairy products like cheese and eggs where as Vegans do not eat dairy products at all.  it will be very hard to go vegan as like you said reading ingredients could have some hidden dairy products like dried egg or milk in them.  start with offing the red meat chicken and pork.  then you can still be a veg is you  eat seafood or you can cut that out too. its up to you are you gonna smell some meat cooking and act like a crack head?  I would say try vegetarian days, I do that it is very easy!! Make a plan see what works!!

  10. It's easier on your conscience, soul and health to be vegan.

But it's easier to be vegetarian when it comes to social situations and reading ingredients lists and buying clothes.

Both groups go through a hard time with others and society.

I couldn't go back to being vegetarian, not when so many animals suffer and die for milk and eggs, 'entertainment', psuedo-science and more uneccesary cosmetics and toiletrees.

  11. Being a lacto-ovo vegetarian is a lot easier then being a vegan. I was a vegan for a while, but it's a lot harder and I missed my leather shoes, and tofu scrambled eggs are gross. I use soy milk but you can't beat a veggie pizza with real cheese.

I'm 53 years old now and have been off of meat for 30 years.

  12. obviously if you are vegetarian, you have more choices, as vegans have a diet that restricts all animal products. however, i don't think it is hard at all to be vegan. sure every once in awhile you'll be with a group of people eating food and you'll have to go hungry, but you come to appreciate the food that you will eat much more than you did before. also, generally, or in my case at least, you will progress to a much healthier diet and feel a lot better

  13. Both will have a lot of label reading.
