Is it easier to get a work permit in canada if you're single with more than 5 years experience on your work?

i applied for cascades aerospace and i have to wait if they would get me . since they ointerviewed me here in the philippines. the interview went very well since i have very good technical knowledge when it comes to my work ( licensed aircraft maintenance technician ). but im quite afraid since when i checked the point system for skilled workers. they give more points to those who has a wife with a degree than a single guy like me ...

does it really matter ????

and do you really think the government prefer people with families instead of singe people migrating there ??

did you score over the basic 67 points to qualify?  If you did and you have an employer lined up willing to assist you you should be okay.

There is a signficant Filipino community in the Vancouver area and Abbotsford is a decent city to live in.

If Cascades Aerospace wants to hire you, to work for them in Canada, they will HELP to get your Immigration approval so don't worry too much. Being sponsored by a Canadian company will be very help full to you.
