Mulling over the idea and just trying to figure the best way to do it, 24 ft. truck with lift gate under cdl and hauling freight, furniture, just about anything you can transport, but it is not a large delivery radius just yet, 100 miles a day or so

  1. As far as i know, this is a question with many different answers,it is really depend on the judgement of yourself, provide a great resource here for reference though.http://insurance.online-frees.info/insur...

  2. Talk to an insurance agent for a free quote. I believe you may be a little confused about the word "commercial". One need not have a corporation to have a commercial insurance need. You may want to talk to an accountant to see if there is a benefit to incorporating, however. For instance, if you have a business, and pay corporate taxes, you may be able to deduct all of the insurance costs as a business expense. So, make 2 phone calls: to an insurance agent for a quote, and to an accountant, to determine the best form for your business!

  3. It is a commercial vehicle.  It doesn't matter if it is in a company name or not, it will still be counted as a commercial vehicle.

Better call a licensed insurance agent for help and some quotes.

  4. Nope, it's not going to matter.  It's a commercial vehicle - you can't put it on a personal auto policy.
