Is it easier to get into USD if you apply to its business school?

The business schools at the top schools (Austin, Penn, Michigan State etc) are the most difficult of all the schools to be admitted to.  You are accepted to the University first.  Then you have to apply to the business school.  A business school at a second tier university shouldn't be too difficult.

Are you talking about University of South Dakota or University of San Diego? In any event you receive admission to the University first and then if the school has a separate admission process your application is then considered by the school.

So in answer to your question does it help your admission if you apply to the business to the answer is no due to the fact they are two separate admissions.
