Is it easier to just 'get along' or 'pay attention'?

I realize a lot of children are basing their reality on the web, and especially here. I apologize to the teens, a child to me is a man under 25 or a woman of similar age.

If this, yahoo answers, were your portal to a social life - would it better to go along with the flow or pay attention to reality if your power went out right now? pay attention? or go with the flow?
