Is it easier to paint fiberglass then carbon fiber in replacement auto pieces?

Thinking about upgrading to a carbon fiber or fiberglass hood considering my stock hood weighs 55 pounds. Complications? Advice?

you better get the fiberglass its cheaper and you can get it painted otherwise tou get the carbon fiber look. Cant paint carbon fiber.
