  1. Im took a Degree in Aerospace Engineering - the industry is screaming for jobs, if you go to a good Uni you wil probably have about 50 job offers before you leave, you see Engineering is a Chartered career like Medicine, Law and Architecture,

you are put on a list of qualified engineers,

If you get a BEng (Bachelor of Engineering), you need to study for 1 moe year to get a masters degree in engineering, then after you have 2 years experience you become a Chartered Engineer, which is the same as being a medical Doctor, or Having a PhD...

I recently had a re-union of all the ppl on my engineering course, a 3 years after we all finished Uni we all had BMWs and 4x4s.

No1 thinks its cool to do things like Phsics at school, so not many ppl end up with degrees in engineering.... There is great demand

You tell the Air Force you have a degree in Engineering, they will make you a pilot like that

BTW, dont decide you just want to do "Aeronautical" engineering its actually the most boring engineering degree out there, you end up working in a job designing aerodynamic bolts for an aeroplane, or quieter tyres on cars... Mechanical Engineers get much more interesting jobs like designing jet engines and wings and stuff... Aeronautics is about aerodynamics.

the first two years of any Engineering degree are the same, so after youv studied the subject for a year or two you will understand the subject better and universites dont really mind you switvhing courses
