Is it easy to get a student visa to study in USA?

I'm from Mexico and want get my major in USA. I know that first, one college has to admitt me, and then I have to apply to get the visa. If I get admitted is it easy to get a student visa? What do they ask for it?

You will need to show them that you have a home in Mexico and close family ties - you may need to show mortgage or property papers for your own or your family's house(s). You may also need to explain why you wish to study in the US and what your professional plans are for the future - how will you use your degree in Mexico? Do some research, but first you will need to get accepted by a US college or university.
