Is it easy to get to Hohenfels from Frankfurt Airport?

If you have a rental car, it's easy enough, just a long drive (about 4 hours depending on traffic and weather).  You go east on the A3 autobahn for most of the journey.  Alternately, you could go south on the A5 autobahn to the A6, then go east on the A6, but that's taking the long way.

Stop by the American USO downstairs and ask for directions (they probably will give you a map).  But it's pretty easy to get to from Frankfurt but a long drive
