  1. if u can play acoustic u can play the electric they r the same things except electric uses an amp but bass has 4 strings and they r thicker if u can play acoustic u cant play bass yet some people find bass easier

  2. I hate the term easy in anything music.

Since you already play an instrument that is similar, it most likely will not be difficult to adapt.

Get some instruction form someone who already plays so that you do not develope some bad habits from the start.

  3. The strings are normally thinner and closer to the fretboard on an electric making it easier. However, you'll learn about things like feedback the first time you plug in (I still have that problem if I don't plug in for a while). There are very little subtle things you'll change, like if you pull your hand off to fast, or hard, you'll hear the tone of the open string a lot more than you would acoustically. Still, the transition is very easy.

With bass, its easy to transverse over from electric guitar than acoustic. The biggest difference is the neck length, playing bass at the end of the neck takes some time getting used to, it will probably hurt your wrist for a little while. Other than that its getting used to the huge string sizes. But when starting out, you'll probably only play one note at a time, therefore making it a bit easier. Other than that you still will have the same feedback issues with electric basses.

    Hope this helps!
