Is it easy to make friends?

Question

To make friends in high school. I just started as freshman and no one from my last school is going to this high school; and how was your ninth grade year? Was it easy? Or by what time did you start making friends? And i am kinda shy so yea.

Hey, I completely understand how you feel. But, for me in Gr. 9 a couple people from middle school were with me. Sure that made my High School experience a little easier but I wasn't really good friends with any of them except for one. But, I was shy too and it was like say October-November when I became good friends with the other people. But, don't make the same mistake I did. I was very very shy. Be confident and be yourself because thats very important. High School is not that scary at all, at least not like how they show in the movies. But then again I am in Canada and I'm guessing you reside in the States. Nonetheless, high school is different than middle school and it will be a little harder in that sense.. more homework, a lot more people etc. It will be scary at first but trust me you will love it by the end of Gr.9 because you'll have plenty friends and you will get used to the marking schemes and stuff.

don't be shy,most of them are friendly and if you ask them to be Friends with you they might accept,somebody asked me to be there best freind right away and it worked

and i don't know anybody but i can't wait because i really like making new friends
