i have a variety of sims 1 games that i want to sell and would like to do it through amazon but is it more hassle than its worth? I am a teenager so would prefer it not to cost that much to sell stuff.

Any info will be very handy!

  1. I haven't tried selling on Amazon, but MarketWall is a good free site for selling locally:

  2. It is very easy to sell, unlike eBay there are no listing fees.  They will list for either 60 or 90 days, and then if it doesnt sell you will have to relist the item.  You would want to price competitively around others selling the same item.  Also, they will give you about 3.99 for shipping, if you ship by telling the Post Office it's Media Mail it's actually much cheaper so they wind up giving you a tad extra, but they do take a commission, based on the price I think.  However, it's usually less than the shipping they give you, so you wind up with a bit more than you would have gotten anyways.  You can just try it, there's no cost, the worst thing that can happen is that they dont sell.

  3. If you live in south America!

  4. it's easy to list, no guarantee they will sell - I was going to sell some used books and looked them up and other people were selling the same title used for a lot less than I was going to ask and there were lots of copies listed, so that told me demand was a lot lower than the supply  - I don't think the Sims games are very hot sellers
